Escalated Portraiture

Escalated Portraiture

I say this is my fashion shot of the set. Took this and to my surprise the best thing about it was the color I think, composition’s cool too, but the color change at the bottom of the stairway is my favorite how it glows red, then the yellow marks on the escalator steps draw your eye back to the top, full circle.

Interlockable Brass Stencils

Interlockable Brass Stencils

picked these up from a local antique store. Only 6.50. It’s funny because there was a .50 cent price scribbled out from the garage sale the store bought em from, but i didn’t care because the graphic design and packaging alone to me are worth 6.50, let alone the awesomeness that its a complete set with ampersand and periods and commas. Never used, and they interlock like train tracks for proper kerning, super cool.

New Old Illustration

My girlfriend claimed this from a frame a girl was throwing away. It’s a silkscreened illustration I’m guessing from somewhere in the 1940-50’s. It’s such a great illustration and print, it came from a play set I believe. We were super happy to find it. I like it a lot.
